Udupi : As many as 75 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no death reported in Udupi district on Monday, September 13.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 75 covid positive cases, 46 cases reported as symptomatic which 20 are male and 26 are female, meanwhile out of 29 cases of asymptomatic 15 are  male and 14 are female. 

Among 75 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 42, from Kundapura 10, Karkala taluk is 21 and from other districts are 2. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 15 and at Home Isolation are 60. Total active cases today are 1514.

 Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 12.09.2021 are 6078 and total tested on second wave till 12.09.2021 is 684990. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1053231. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges on 13.09.2021 during second wave are 62 and total discharges on second wave are 49808.  Total discharges in the district are 73229.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Monday on 13.09.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 269.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 459.

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 51591. Total positives in the district are increased to 75202.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Monday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 3806 and cumulative total 398207, second dose 3408, cumulative second dose 74901, above 45 years Ist dose are 1969 and cumulative total  407648, IInd dose 6096 and cumulative total 220026, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 20763, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8079 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total  is 4346. Total today Ist dose are 5775 which cumulative total is 837504, 2nd dose 9504, Cumulative total 320013.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 13.09.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 13.09.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 13.09.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 13.09.2021 is 41. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 13.09.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 52. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 0.
