Udupi : As many as 57 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no death reported in Udupi district on Tuesday, September 14. Total discharges today 12 and active cases 1559.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 57 covid positive cases, 34 cases reported as symptomatic which 16 are male and 18 are female, meanwhile out of 23 cases of asymptomatic 13 are  male and 10 are female. 

Among 57 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 37, from Kundapura 11 Karkala taluk is 8 and from other districts is one. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 11 and at Home Isolation are 46. Total active cases today are 1559.

 Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 13.09.2021 are 3815 and total tested on second wave till 13.09.2021 is 688805. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1057046. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges on 14.09.2021 during second wave are 12 and total discharges on second wave are 49820.  Total discharges in the district are 73241.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Tuesday on 14.09.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 269.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 459.

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 51648. Total positives in the district are increased to 75249.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Tuesday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 1903 and cumulative total 400110, second dose 1871, cumulative second dose 76772, above 45 years Ist dose are 966 and cumulative total  408614, IInd dose 2629 and cumulative total 222655 for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 20763, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8079 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total  is 4346. Total today Ist dose are 2869 which cumulative total is 840373, 2nd dose 4500, Cumulative total 324513.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 14.09.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 14.09.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 14.09.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 14.09.2021 is 41. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 14.09.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 52. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 0.
