Udupi : As many as 16 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no death reported in Udupi district on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Total discharges today are 18 and active cases decreased to 81.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 16 covid positive cases, 16 cases reported as symptomatic which are 8 male and 8 are female, meanwhile out of 0 cases of asymptomatic  0 is  male and 0 are female. 

Among 13 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 12, from Kundapura 1, Karkala taluk is 3 and from other districts are 0. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 3 and at Home Isolation are 13.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 12.10.2021 are 2914 and total tested on second wave till 12.10.2021 is 803717. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1171958. Total discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 13.10.2021 during second wave are 18 and total discharges on second wave are 52567.  Total discharges in the district are 75988.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Wednesday on 13.10.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 284.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 474

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 52932. Total positives in the district are increased to 76543.

Udupi district COVID-19 vaccination today on Wednesday for 18 to 44 years first doses are 731 and cumulative total 440213, second dose 5623 cumulative second dose 146055, above 45 years Ist dose are 338 and cumulative total  433846, IInd dose 5479 and cumulative total 277035, for HCW’s Ist dose 0 and cumulative total is 23570 and IInd dose 0, cumulative total is 22755, FLW’s Ist dose are 0 which cumulative total is 8080 and IInd dose 0 and cumulative total  is 6478. Total today Ist dose are 1069 which cumulative total is 905709, IInd dose 11102, Cumulative total 452323.

Mucormyosis (Black Fungus) details in the district: In Udupi 0, Total till today on 13.10.2021 the cases reported in Udupi is 5, In Karkalla 0, Till today on 13.10.2021 is 0, in Kundapura is 0, Till today on 13.10.2021 is 6, other districts is 0, Till today 13.10.2021 is 42. No death occurred today for black fungus. Six deaths are reported for black fungas in Udupi district till today on 13.10.2021. Total cases in the district till today are 53. Total discharge on today is 0. Total discharges till today 46. Active cases are 1.
