Udupi : As many as 8 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no deaths reported on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Udupi district. Total discharges today are 6 and active cases are 51.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 8 covid positive cases, 7 cases reported as symptomatic which is 5 male and 2 is female, meanwhile out of 1 case of asymptomatic 0 is male and 1 is female. 

Among 8 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 8, from Kundapura 0, Karkala taluk is 0 and from other districts is 0. 

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, Covid Care Centre, Designated Covid Hospital and Designated Covid Health Hospital patients is 2 and at Home Isolation are 6.

Total tested during first wave are 368241 and second wave tested on 23.11.2021 are 930 and total tested on second wave till 23.1.2021 is 891029. Total first wave and second wave tested are 1259270. Discharged during first wave are 23421. The discharges today on 24.11.2021 during second wave are 6 and total discharges on second wave are 52892.  Total discharges in the district are 76313.

Total deaths in first wave in the district were 190. No death reported on second wave occurred today on Wednesday on 24.11.2021. Till today deaths in second wave are 286.  Total deaths in the district are increased to 476

Total positives in first wave are 23611. Total positive in second wave is 53229. Total positives in the district are increased to 76840.
