497 new positive cases on Friday for Covid-19 in Udupi district, positivity rate increases to 10.20%

Udupi : As many as 497 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no succumbed to death on Friday, January 14, 2022. Total discharges today are 76 and active cases are 2335.
According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 479 covid positive cases, 225 cases reported as symptomatic which is 123 male and 102 is female, meanwhile out of 272 cases of asymptomatic 141 is male and 131 is female.
Among 497 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi taluk out of 3470 tested, positive is 354 which positivity rate is 10.20%, from Kundapura taluk out of 1571 tested, positive cases is 68 which is 4.33%, from Karkala taluk out of 1611 tested, positive cases is 70 which is 4.35% and from other districts is 5. Total tested for Covid-19 in Udupi district is 6652 which positives are 497 and positive rate in the district is 7.40%.
Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, is 12, Covid Care Centre is 13, Designated Covid Hospital is 10 and at Home Isolation are 462.
Total tested on 13-01-2022 is 6652, Cumulative from 01.01.2022 to 13.01.2022 are 71166. Total discharges on 13.01.2022 are 76. Cumulative discharges in the district from 01.01.2022 to 13.01.2022 are 542. Total active cases in the district on Friday, January 14 are 2335. Total positive in the district till 14.01.2022 from 01.01.2022 are 2729.
The positive in ICMR portal previous day and positive shown for today (according to Parihar portal App will be freezed at 3.00 pm.) differs.
