Udupi : Krishnapura Paryaya Samiti Working President Raghupathy Bhat held meeting with senior officials today on Paryaya celebration to be held on 18th January, 2022.
Due to the continuous surge of Covis19 in the district and the state, as per the Paryaya Celebrations Committee and the Krishnapur Math Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Swimiji, the this year Paryaya celebrations will be held with low-key manner.
Raghupathy Bhat said that all the tableau units will be cancelled during the procession from Jodukatte and procession will be held in simple manner carrying Krishnapur Math in a golden palanquin. Along with Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Swimiji other Swamijis of the Astha Maths will leve Jodukatte at 3.am. Bhat aso si that limited seating arrngements will be in Darbar.
Kurma Rao M Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Zilla Panchayat Chief Officer Naveen Bhat Y., N. Vishnuvarhan District Superintendent of Police, Sadashiva Prabhu Additional DC and Paryaya Celebration Committee members were present.
