Udupi : As many as 442 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no succumbed to  death on Monday, January 17, 2022. Total discharges today are 239 and active cases are 3595

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 442 covid positive cases, 191 cases reported as symptomatic which is 92 male and 99 is female, meanwhile out of 251 cases of asymptomatic 125 is male and 126 is female. 

Among 442 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi taluk out of 1724 tested, positive is 258 which positivity rate is 14.97%, from Kundapura taluk out of 1102 tested, positive cases is 122 which is 11.07%, from Karkala taluk out of  769 tested, positive cases  is 62 which is 8.06% and from other districts is 0. Total tested for Covid-19 in Udupi district is 3595 which positives are 442 and positive rate in the district is 12.29%.

Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, is 11, Covid Care Centre is 15, Designated Covid Hospital is 2 and at Home Isolation are 414.

Total tested on 16-01-2022 is 3595, Cumulative from 01.01.2022 to 16.01.2022 are 87460. Total discharges on 16.01.2022 are 239. Cumulative discharges in the district from 01.01.2022 to 16.01.2022 are 922. Total active cases in the district on Monday, January 17 are 3595. Total positive in the district till 17.01.2022 f are 4369.
