Udupi : As many as 801 new positive cases for COVID-19 and no succumbed to death on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Total discharges today are 95 and active cases are 4301
According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 801 covid positive cases, 356 cases reported as symptomatic which is 173 male and 183 is female, meanwhile out of 445 cases of asymptomatic 213 is male and 232 is female.
Among 801 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi taluk out of 2310 tested, positive is 533 which positivity rate is 23.07%, from Kundapura taluk out of 706 tested, positive cases is 194 which is 27.48%, from Karkala taluk out of 656 tested, positive cases is 67 which is 10.21% and from other districts is 7. Total tested for Covid-19 in Udupi district is 3672 which positives are 801 and positive rate in the district is 21.62%.
Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital, is 11, Covid Care Centre is 30, Designated Covid Hospital is 19 and at Home Isolation are 741.
Total tested on 17-01-2022 is 3672, Cumulative from 01.01.2022 to 17.01.2022 are 91132. Total discharges on 17.01.2022 are 95. Cumulative discharges in the district from 01.01.2022 to 17.01.2022 are 1017. Total active cases in the district on Monday, January 18 are 4301. Total positive in the district till 18.01.2022 f are 5120.
The positive in ICMR portal previous day and positive shown for today (according to Parihar portal App will be freezed at 3.00 pm.) differs.
