MILAVERSE –Jashn e-Hayat – 20Th June, 2022 to 22nd June, 2022, - Given a joshful start in Milagres College, Kallianpur.

As we reported earlier in these pages, the Milagres College Kallianpur had a highly resourceful week, MEJORA Incesante, ‘unceasing empowerment, for their students - 13th June, to 18TH June, 2022, comprising seminars, workshops, various outreach programmes, retreats, job oriented crash courses etc tailor-made to suit Final year students in all streams and for juniors as per their tastes and preferences.

Though initially there was a curiosity and concern how these things or experiments will be received or accepted by the participants? Today the Management and Principal Dr Vincent Alva and his team of organisers had a great contentment and satisfaction of giving something very special and unique to students’ fraternity. It’s proved by the ‘feedback notes’ received from them to acknowledge the usefulness and worth of this weeklong engagement in the College Campus, for life time, well supported by various eminent resources persons who were well-known for quality and tact, in addressing youth…..

To continue with learning the syllabus prescribed, by the Universities, its ripe time to focus something beyond that and the personality development, how to formulate ourselves to be responsible citizens in the society, the significance of balanced exercise for both mind and body, and to learn ourselves to be self motivated and take the responsible leadership were some visible outcome of this experience of a different kind….

Results are in front of our eyes and ‘Students Welfare Council’ themselves back with yet another 3 days or a week of activities a blue print of Extra-curricular activities, comprising traditional /cultural and recreational / sports has been exclusively proposed, planned and to be executed by the students themselves led by Jimson D’Cunha the President…..

There are interclass competitions which carry credit points. GK Quiz, Mahanadi, Lagori, Tug of War, Dumb Charades, Rangoli, Slow Cycle race, Pen-fight, Face Painting, Mock Press, Word Game, Gully Cricket etc are some of the innovative activities to involve each and every student to be part of anyone or more. The colourful brochure released by the SWC as above, itself attractive / creative enough to make a instant impression in the minds of readers, designed by Clifton DSouza III B Com, and his friends.

Everyday there will be a minimum of four major events both indoor and outdoor as the first day marked with successful, GK Quiz, Rangoli, Pen-fight and closely fought Tug of war, braving rain and slippery ground.

They are expecting more fun and frolic in coming days and Milagres Campus will be hub of lot of activities to witness them.
