Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti meet and greet  Dr. D. Virendra Hegde

Moodbidre/Mumbai: The committee always expresses support for the pain of the people who give up space for the proposed industrial projects along the coast of the undivided Dakshina Kannada district which is moving towards the direction of development. If the government comes up with a plan that does not answer the local people, the committee will fight continuously and try to provide justice to them. Thonse Jayakrishna Shetty, the founder of Jayashree Krishna Eco Premi Samiti, said that the aim of the committee is to protect the interest of the environment and the people of that environment and to encourage industries if people’s land is acquired for industrial activities.

He presided over a special meeting held at Moodbidri Estate Resort on August 30 and lit a lamp. On behalf of the committee, M.R.P.L. It has provided justice to the locals by making them get jobs in the company. The committee is always open minded. Jayakrishna Shetty made it clear that the concern of our people and the environment will always be important to us while taking the stand that industries should come and the coast should be developed.

Committee Chairman L.V. Amin presided over the meeting. Honorary General Secretary Mundur Surendra Salian welcomed and Treasurer Tulsidas Amin gave vote of thanks. Committee Vice President Nityananda Kotyan gave introductory remarks.

The following demands of the committee were conveyed to the media representatives who attended the meeting.

To provide 24/7 uninterrupted power supply to undivided Dakshina Kannada,
In 2006, the committee had experienced a very difficult situation in the implementation of the Maga Nagarjuna Power Plant, now Adani Power, in Padubidri Udupi district with the aim of solving the power problem.

Further industrialization in coastal Karnataka is planned with the following conditions - Pollution control should be as per international standards.
Permanent employment for 50% undivided Dakshina Kannada people according to their qualifications 40% employment for Karnataka people outside our Dakshina Kannada,  10% employment to people from other states of India

A family or one who loses land and home Must get permanent job. Tenants to occupy and compensate for their houses and trees Must get facilities.

In all upcoming industries 30% of land should be set aside for waste absorption from industries and planted with plantation trees and other pollution absorbing trees like mango, jackfruit, neem, teak. Give good compensation to those who lost their land.

Make a quality housing complex with modern facilities for land/house grabbers close to government acquired land. For all those who lost land, a job for a family The Government should inform in writing about giving. The Minister of Industry should inform in advance of the loss of land which industries will come up in his jurisdiction. Considering the development of the district, he made several demands to the media persons

Visit to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala

On the morning of August 1, a delegation of Jaya Sri Krishna Eco Premi Samiti visited Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala temple and offered special pooja. Later, he met and honored the newly nominated Rajya Sabha MP  Dr. Virendra Heggade.

Dr. Dr. Hegade was presented by the founder of the committee, Tonse Jaya Krishna Shetty, and the chairman, LV Amin. Dr. Heggade appreciated the views and the team’s efforts and responded positively.

Former President Dharmapal U Devadiga coordinated the meeting with Dr. Virendra Heggade who was visiting Dharmasthala. All the above dignitaries of the committee were present in the visit to Dharmasthala.
