Udupi : As many as Seven fresh positive cases for Covid-19 which 1 from Udupi taluk, positive rate is 0.6 and 5 from Kundapura taluk positive rate is 2.0 reported on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Udupi district, Active cases in the district are 33 and 9 discharges . The Positive rate in the district is 1.3%.

According to the district health bulletin by Deputy Commissioner to the media, among 7 covid positive cases, 7 cases reported as symptomatic which 2 is male and 5 is female, meanwhile out of 0 cases of asymptomatic  0 is male and 0 is female. 

Place of admission/Isolation in Covid care Center is 0, in designated Covid Hospital is 0, Designated Covid health hospital is 1 and home isolation is 6. Total is 7.

Total tested on 05-08-2022 is 478. Cumulative from 01.01.2022 to 05.08.2022 are 239941.Total discharges on 6.08.2022 is 9.
