Byndoor : The dead body of 2nd standard student Sannidhi (7), a resident of Makkimane, Kalthodu village, was found after 48 hours after she fell into the flowing river while returning home from school.
The incident took place on Monday evening at Beejamakki in Kaltodu village and a continuous search was conducted.
Her dead body was found 400 meters away from dangerous foot bridge today on Wednesday.
A team of 22 people led by fire brigade personnel, swimmers and fisherman Naresh Koderi, and more than a hundred people including the public were involved in the search. Two boats are being used for the operation.
