Golden Voice of UAE 2022 grand finale is on November 6, 2022!

Golden Voice of UAE 2022, presented by Mangalore Konkans Dubai, is all set to witness its grand finale on November 6, 2022. The grand finale will be held at the Emirates Theatre, Dubai. start at 4.30pm sharp.

We are super excited to witness your favourite contestant lift the trophy. Out of the many aspiring singers, the race to win the show is among the top 6 male and 6 female contestants who are ready for the final battle for the crown to receive ‘Golden Voice of UAE 2022 – Male’ and ‘Golden Voice of UAE 2022 – Female’. Along with the crown and the trophy, Both the Male and Female contestants will grab a prize of INR 50,000.

After the auditions held in Dubai on June 5, 2022, the top 10 male and 10 female contestants were selected for the next two rounds: ‘Contestant choice round’ and ‘Mandd sobhann round’ respectively.

The first round - contestants choice was judged by Rev. Fr Jaya Prakash D’Souza and Mr. Alwyn Noronha. The second round - Mandd Sobhann was judged by Mr. Rony D’Cunha and Ms. Zeena Pereira. As a result of these two rounds, Mangalore Konkans succeeded in getting the best top 6 male and 6 female contestants for the final round.

What to look forward to at the finale?

Final contestants will perform and grace the show with their unique voices directed by well-known music director by famous music maestro Remiro Mascarenhas and his team.

Three renowned judges from India will judge the show.

About Mangalore Konkans Dubai:

Mangalore Konkans Dubai was established in the year 1988 with the basic objective of promoting Konkani language and culture among the Mangalurean diaspora in the UAE. It also intended to extend financial support to the Mangalurean community in Dubai and in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district. Without diluting the original objectives, even with the passage of time, the organization pursued / followed its goals solemnly to emerge as a major force to reckon within the UAE. Over the years, with an array of activities aimed at the general welfare of Mangalureans, Mangalore Konkans Dubai has played an essential role in keeping the pennant of Konkani language and Mangalurean culture flying high in the desert land. Credit goes to Mangalore Konkans Dubai for being the first association of Mangalureans in the UAE in 1988, at the time when the community was scattered without a proper platform to feel the share and the flavor of Mangalurean culture. Instrumental in organizing first Konkani Way of the Cross, followed by the first nativity feast for children with showering of flowers at the grotto, first Konkani choir made its debut at St Mary’s Church, Dubai. It was due to the indefatigable efforts of Mangalore Konkans Dubai, for the first time, a Konkani speaking priest was deputed to Dubai and with that, permanent Konkani Mass was also started.

A few of the events organized by Mangalore Konkans Dubai are Grand May Queen Ball, Konkani King & Queen Contest, Konkani Milan, Family Fiesta, Wilfy night and  Sentimental Night, Lorna’s Musical Evening, Felicitations Dr Aloysius P D’Souza, bishop of Mangalore diocese, Konkani dramas, Konkani Sports Meets, Talent Show, Konkani Gayan Spordho, Parental Guidance Seminar, Medical Seminar, Leadership Training and Personality development programme, Cookery Contest, A Seminar on A Journey – Teenage to Adulthood, Mega Konkani Concert, Speech Craft for Konkani speaking Mangalorean Youth in the UAE, Life Skills for Parents and Teenagers, Konkani Elocution competition, Gulf Voice of Mangalore and many more. Also established Education & Medical Trust fund with CODP Mangaluru, Cancer Patients Aid Fund with Fr Muller Mangaluru and sponsored Wilfy Rebimbus Memorial Best Singer Award with Sandesha.
