Aenson and Valenteena conferred maiden crown of Golden Voice of UAE 2k22

Dubai, November 6, 2022: The most awaited and sensational eve of Golden Voice of UAE 2k22 is concluded with grand success and 2 new star singers are introduced to Konkani industry. Aenson Mathias Thottam and Valenteena Castelino Shirthady chosen for the maiden crown of Golden Voice of UAE 2k22. The mesmerizing evening was presented by Mangalore Konkans Dubai at Emirates Theatre Dubai on November 6 th 2022.

The event kick started with grand procession of contestants, patrons, judges and inagurators. Master of ceremony Floyd introduced the legacy of Mangalore Konkans crossed from past 34 yesrs and welcomed the gathering.

In grand procession, Prakash Crasta and Marleeta Fernandes from Mangalore Konkans Dubai lead the procession holding MK flag and UAE national flag, followed by President James Mendonca. Twelve final contestants accompanied the sponsors of the event to the stage as a token of respect and gratitude. Mr. Ronald Martis from Blue Royal group, Mr. Gilbert Dsouza from Al Tabadul uto maintenance, Mr. Benedict Pinto from Al Khalidiya group, Mr. Sanesh from Malabar Gold and Daimonds, Mr. Michael Moras from Qualified Machinery Services, Mr. Sudarshan Hedge. Mr. Lancy Madtha from Integrated freight & logistics, Mr. Wilson Fernandes from Fernandes group. Mr. Rupesh Pinto from Reyzen Gulf International, Mr. Manoj Vas from Resort Supplies trading. Mr. Rameeth Kumar from Land Trades Mangalore and Mr. Valerian D’almeida from Quick Digital and advisory were accomopained by 12 contestants.

The 12 contestants namely Sheethal Dsouza Vamanjoor, Anil Pinto Allipade, Vinola Sequeira Valencia, Ostine Crasta Talapady, Nisha Dsouza Kanajar, Anil Rodrigues Kundapur, Disha Pasanna Bajpe, Aenson Mathias Thottam, Priyanka Dsouza Bendur, Valen Sequeira Valencia, Valenteena Castelino Shirthady and Alwyn Mendonca Anjelore were welcomed to the satge along with sponsors in grand manner.

President of Mangalore Konkans James Mendonca honored the sponsors with sash and thanked them for their contribution for GVOUAE 2k22. Judges of the completion Rag Dev fame Charan Kumar, Prabakhar degree holder Rev.Fr. Reginald D’souza, and Sangeeth Guru fame Joel Pereira welcomed in gradeour and mangalore Konkans memebrs Alwyn Pinto, Preethy Seema and Stephan Menezes escorted the judges.

General Manager of Globe link West Star Shipping - Mr. Canute D’souza, Managing Director of Leyton Shipping - Mr. Lancy D’souza, Managing Director of Ivory Grand Real Estate - Mr. Michael D’souza, CEO and Founder of Merit Freight - Mr. Joseph Mathias and Managing Director of Hyssna International - Ronald Pinto were the patrons of the program and they were hailed to the dais in grand procession and they were accompanied by Sonali Fernandes. President James Mendonca honored the patrons with sash and they inaugurated the program by beating the traditional Konkani musical instrument Gumta. James Mendonca welcomed all audience, constantans and sponsors and thanked everyone who supported to host the show GVOUAE 2k22.

Its Show Time team presented prayer dance and prayed the blessings on the show. The competitions began with grand music by Band Ramiro lead by ace musician Ramiro Mascaranhas and team. Internationally acclaimed master of ceremony Roshan D’silva took charge of the competition and presented the show in his unique way of presentation and witty comments.

The judges were introduced to the audience in video presentation along with their brief profile and Marks counting committee head and MK member Melroy Pinto handed over the marks sheets to the judges. The program was framed with slow songs round, fast beats round and Goan songs round. In first half all 12 participants presented slow round songs. Judges commented on the positive notes of the singing and also gave the suggestions for improvisation. In fast beats round, the twelve contestants presented the fast songs where audience were pushed to tap their feats.

As a program rule, 6 contestants were got eliminated from the show and only six contestants were selected for Goan songs round. Vinola Sequeira, Priyanka Dsouza and Valenteena Castelino from female category and Aenson mathias, Anil Rodrigues and Valen Sequeira from male category got selected for final Goan songs Round. After the final presentation by six contestants, entertainment programs were planned where as Sangon Mugdana Kalakar under the leadership of ace movie actor, director and drama artist Pradeep Barboza Paladka presented rib tickling comedy skits and busted laughter riot. TruEntertainer lead by Nishan presented mesmerizing dance performance which showcased the dance culture of Konkani. Its Show Time presented nine approved dance of India in unique way.

All these performers were honored with memento and gifts. Twelve contestants were honored behalf of Mangalore Konkans with memento. Priest of St Mary’s church Dubai and Konkani community Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Victor Fernandes honored the contestants. Also, chief of Maestro Events Sujith, designer of videos and banners Mr. Merwyn, leader of Band Ramiro, Ramiro mascaranhas, photographers of the show Ramcy Fernandes and Lovelyn D’souza were also honored for their service to the show.

Ms. Sharal Decosta and Mr. Cletus Ostine received a symbol of distinction for having received the most YouTube views and likes respectively during the Golden Voice of UAE 2022 trip. Our adjudicator, Mr. Charan Kumar, sang a well-known song, Panduranga, with Mr. Joel Pereira on piano accompaniment as request by Mr. Charan Kumar. Another well-known song, Ello Ello Soro Pileyo, was also performed.

Fr. Victor and the president presented honors to all of the judges. A speech was delivered by Rev. Fr. Reginald D'souza at this moment.

At last during results, Vinola Sequiera and Valen Sequeira secured the 2 nd runner up position of GVOUAE 2k22 and they were honored with trophy and INR 10,000.00 cash cheque and gift vouchers. The 1 st runner up position was taken by Anil Rodrigues and Priyanka D’souza. They were conferred with trophy and INR 10,000.00 cash price and gift vouchers and hampers.

With loud cheers and a spectacular sight, the winning positions of Golden Voice of UAE 2k22 were conferred to Aenson Mathias and Valenteena Castelino in grand manner. They were bestowed with GVOUAE 2k22 crown, Winners trophy, INR 50,000.00 cash cheque and gift hampers and vouchers.

The patrons and sponsors of the show were present at the stage along with President James Mendonca and honored the winners with awards. Roshan D’silva thanked everyone and concluded the show.
