Print Celebration of 74th Republic day at University Evening College
Mangaluru: University Evening College, Mangaluru Celebrated “74th Republic day”on 26th January 2023 at Shivarama Karantha Bhavana.
Chief Guest Dr. Dayananda Naik, Assistant Professor, Political Science, Mangalore University spoke about current affairs and the importance of Democracy. He said, earlier days there was lot of love and sacrifice for one’s country. In politics there is no friend nor enemy. If you love yourselves and your home you will love your nation.
Dr. Jagadish B, Coordinator MCom and MBA(IB) said that we should remember our freedom fighters and soldiers who devoted their lives for the nation.
Dr. Laxmidevi L, Principal of University Evening College, Mangaluru presided over the function. She said about the evolution of the Constitution. Humanity should be our Dharma and we should save our rights.
Dr. Madhava M K Coordinator, MA Tulu was present. Mrs. Varsha V, Lecturer in Commerce composed the program. Mrs. Shwetha, Lecturer in Journalism welcomed the guests. Prayer was invoked by Yavej and team. Mr. Santhosh, Lecturer in Commerce introduced the guest. Mr. Mohammad Rizwan, Lecturer in Commerce rendered the Vote of thanks. Teaching and Non Teaching Faculty and Students were present during the programme.
