Print Udupi : Samatha Dala will be organizing protest at Minister for Social Development Shri Kota Srinivas Poojary’s residence on March 26 at 10 am to pressurize the minister to give order Rs. 7 lakh for constructing the home for SC/ST communities which the minister announced earlier that under Ambedkar Awaz project houses for the communities will be given at the cost of Rs. 7 lakh which not be given yet.
Speaking to media persons during the press meet held at Pathrika Bhavan, Vishwanath Pethri District president of Samatha Sainika Dala said that we condemn the soft stand of the government in this regard. We have sent an appeal to the government to give the order to construct a house at a cost of Rs. 7 lakh which was earlier announced by the minister. But the announcement is not yet fulfilled. We think that Raghupathy Bhat Udupi MLA is the remote control of Kota Srinivas Poojary. SC/ST community members have given applications last year and our people are going around the department to sanction the house, he said.
