Mumbai (RBI), March.22:on Governmental organisations and individuals who raised maximum funds for various social causes through the platform of the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 were felicitated at the hands of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais at the ’TMM Philanthropy Awards Nite’ in Mumbai on Tue (21 Mar).
Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Rahul Narwekar, Minister of School Education Deepak Kesarkar, MLA Ashish Shelar, spouse of Dy CM - Smt Amruta Fadnavis, Brand Custodian of Tata Sons Harish Bhatt and MD of Procam International Anil Singh and Jt MD Vivek Singh were present.
The Governor felicitated the top 3 fundraising organisations, namely Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, United Way Mumbai and Central Chinmay Mission Trust. He also felicitated Change Legends, individuals who raised in excess of Rs One Crore. Shyam Jasani, Manisha Khemlani, Sadashiv Rao and Navya and Gagan Banga were among those felicitated.
The 2023 edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon raised a sum of Rs.40.68 crore for 252 NGOs spread across the country.
