Print Favaro: Children’s camp at Kalangann
Mandd Sobhann’s annual children’s camp ‘Favaro’ (fountain) was inaugurated on 28 April in Kalangann. Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar awardee Remona Evette Pereira, inaugurated the camp.
Mandd Sobhann committee members Stany Alvares, Kishore Fernandes, Alron Rodrigues, Naveen Lobo, Sunil Monteiro and Raina Castelino were also present for the inauguration ceremony.
The trainers were introduced. Eric Ozario is the director and Louis Pinto is the supervisor of the camp. The trainers for the Singing category are Raina Castelino, Dealle Dsouza, Prithuma Monteiro, Jasmine Lobo and Preethi Lopes, for dance, Rahul Pinto and Delitia Pereira, for drama, Vikas Lasrado and Savitha Saldanha, for anchoring, Arun Raj Rodrigues, for Konkani lessons, Rev. Jason Pinto and Rony Crasta, introduction of the resource persons by Irene Rebello, yoga classes by Anita, end-of-the-day session, Vitori Karkal and extra help by Saritha Dsouza, Sunil Siddi, and Alban Dsilva.
A total of 77 participants are attending the camp from DK, Udupi, Bengaluru, Chikkamagalur, Uttara Kannada and Kasargod. The 257th monthly theatre taking place on May 07 will be performed by these children.
