St Mary’s College Shirva organises  a special lecture on Digital Technology, AI Datascience

Shirva: The computer science department of St Mary’s College, Shirva, in association with IT Club organized a special lecture on Digital Technology, AI Datascience and job opportunities on 24  June 2023 at Fr Henry Castelino Auditorium of the College.

Data science is a combination of data mining, machine learning and statistical analysis to solve data problems in various fields today. By learning such data science skills, youth can get better ideas to solve business problems and make better decisions for businesses Said the chief guest  Ms Kruthika lead-HR  from cognitive solutions, Mangalore

 President of the programme, Principal of the College, Dr Herald Ivan Monis spoken In the current era, computer graduates are in high demand in the market due to rapid changes in science and technology. He also stressed Students should prepare themselves to take on the challenges of the industry by learning business skills during their college life and shape their future.

ಶಿರ್ವ: ಇಂದಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ  ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು,ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಡೇಟಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಗಣಿಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಯಂತ್ರ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಕಿಅಂಶಗಳ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣೆಯ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಯುವಕರು ಇಂತಹ ಡೇಟಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ  ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು  ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ  ಉತ್ತಮ ಉಪಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದೆಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿರ್ವ ಸಂತ ಮೇರಿ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ  ವಿಭಾಗವು ತನ್ನ ಘಟಕವಾದ ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನ ಮೂಲಕ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ  ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ, ಆರ್ಟಿಫಿಶಿಯಲ್ ಇಂಟೆಲಿಜೆನ್ಸ್ ,ಡೇಟಾ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು  ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಎಂಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಾಗ್ನೆಟಿವ್  ಸೊಲ್ಯೂಷನ್ಸ್ ನ  ಅಸಿಸ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಹೆಚ್ ಆರ್   ಲೀಡರ್ಟೀಮ್ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೃತಿಕಾ   ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿನ ತ್ವರಿತ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಪದವೀಧರರಿಗೆ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲೇ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಯಮದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು  ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ! ಹೆರಾಲ್ಡ್ ಐವನ್ ಮೋನಿಸ್ ರವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ  ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಪದವೀಧರರು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶ ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು  ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಲೆಫ್ಟಿನೆಂಟ್  ಕೆ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಿವಿಮಾತು ನೀಡಿ, ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ. ಫಾಧಿ , ಕಾಗ್ನಿಟಿವ್ ಸೊಲ್ಯೂಷನ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ತಂಡದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು  ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಸಂವಾದದ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೆಮಿನಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ  ಗ್ಲೋ ಟಚ್ ಪ್ಲೇಸ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಡ್ರೈವಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ  ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ತರುಣ್ ರಮೇಶ್,   ಎಲ್ರುಷಾ ಮಿಲಿನಾ ಡಿ’ಸಾ, ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ್ ಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಅಂಚನ್ ಇವರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ಬಿಸಿಎ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ-ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕೇತರ ಬಂಧುಗಳು , ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ  ಆಲಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಸುಜಾಯ್  ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಅನುಪ್ ನಾಯಕ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.ಕು. ದೀಪ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಗ  ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು. ಕು. ಚಂದನ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಕು. ನಿವೇದಿತಾ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕು. ಎಲ್ರುಷಾ ಮಿಲಿನಾ ಡಿ’ಸಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ  ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು.
