Udupi Sep. 18: The third batch of 4-day direct training of guest and honorary teachers on Communicative English was conducted by Shefins Educational and Charitable Trust ® Udupi, under the leadership of state level Amrit Samman awardee Mr. Manoj Kadaba. This training was conducted by the special interest of Kundapura Block Education Officer Mrs. Shobha Shetty and Block Resource Centre co-ordinator Mr. Ashok Naik.

This training was conducted from September 14 to 17 under the auspices of Government Higher Primary School Yedadi-Matyadi. 20 guest and honorary teachers from 8 schools of Hunsemakki, Keduru and Bidkalkatte clusters were successfully participated in this training.

The 4 days fun filled activity-based training had different language learning activities like English grammar, Effective Communication, Spoken English training techniques, Creating tongue twisters, Creating Stories, Activities on Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking,  Enhancement of Self-confidence, etc. Mr. Udaya Kothari, a guest teacher from Japthi Aided school was honoured with the Innovative Teaching Award, during the training.

CRP Mr. Vasant Shetty, Headmistress of the host school Mrs. Ramani, and President of the SDMC Mr. Manjunath Mogaveera were participated as guests during inauguration.

The closing ceremony was presided over by BRP Mrs. Sukanya. The host school’s headmistress Mrs. Ramani and SDMC president Mr. Manjunath Mogaweera were the guests. Shefins Director Mr. Manoj Kadaba, Trainer Mrs. Smitha KC, Coordinator Mrs. Arpita Brahmavara and Mr. Ejaz Manna were present. The closing Programme was organised by the participants, hosted by Mrs. Mahalakshmi Aithal, welcomed by Mrs. Nagaratna and vote of thanks by Mrs. Shobhitha.
