Udupi : Tulunadu Tennis League will be held on 23rd and 24th September at Indoor Stadium, Udupi which organized by Raghavendra, said Dayanand.
Addressing a press meet at Udupi Press Club here on Friday, Dayanand said that there will be 6 teams which the players arrived from Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad and other places. The winners will get Rs. 44,444 and runners up will get Rs 33,333. He said that all 6 teams to play against each other. Teams with most wins will pay each other in the finals. The entry fees for the team will be Rs. 1000 includes T Shirt.
The players registered through online methods. The numbers will be provided soon. Registration fees will be refunded to the players who are not selected in the auction.
He said that the registration includes food and team shirts and to be played according to the respective categories. In case of doubts with age, government ID should be provided by the players as proof.
There are nine categories in the Tulunadu Tennis league. They are open men’s singles, open men’s doubles, 35 plus A & B, 50 Plus, 60 Plus, Ladies doubles, Under 16 boys, Beginners, Mixed doubles. Categories can be changed depending on players’ availability. Right of reserved, he said.
