Udupi : The state government in order to benefit unorganized sector workers will introduce various schemes. The Congress workers in the Karavali areas should work with unity to win the forthcoming election, said Santhosh Lad, Minister for Labour, Government of Karnataka.

After receiving honor from the Udupi District Congress Committee officials in the Congress Bhavan, Nairkere near on Monday, Santhosh Lad said that there are around 90% in the country and 85% in the Karnataka state unorganized workers. In order to upgrade the security for the unorganized sector workers, the government will bring law for the 1.80 crore for unorganized sector workers.

The state government will take action for online service providers, working in the transport department including building construction workers betterment facilities from the government.

During the occasion, condolences were offered to the Nejar incident deceased. Dinakar Herroor paid condolences to the family members of deceased members at the Nejar incident.

Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, President, Udupi Congress Committee presided over the programme and said that there should be a need to prepare for the forthcoming election now itself. There should be a need to make the Booth level of the Congress party stronger.
