Bangalore April 7: CM Siddaramaiah said that Prof. Rajeev Gowda is a qualified candidate with good knowledge, concern and populist  ideology. He  expressed confidence that he has all chances to win from Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency.

He was speaking after Inaugurating the Women’s and Booth level leaders conference in  Dasarahalli assembly constituency, today 

’Shobha Karandlaje faced  go-back slogans  from the BJP workers and leaders of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency has been given a ticket here’. The CM called upon the Conscious voters of North Lok Sabha constituency to send Shobha  Karandlage back from here too.

’Shobha Karandlaje did not raise her voice for a single day about the injustices done to the state for five years. Do these people value your vote? As the Vice-Chairman of state policy and planning commission, Rajiv Gowda, who has high academic qualifications and knowledge, who constantly raises his voice about the injustices of the state, will bring great dignity for your vote. The Chief  Minister  called upon the people  to be sensible and make him win.

’Modi never implemented anything he said in last ten years. It did not bring in black money, did not create 2 crore jobs per year, did not reduce the prices of petrol, diesel, gas, fertilizer, cooking oil and pulses. He said that Acche Din has  never come to the lives of Indians by merely  making speechs  saying ’Acche Din Ayega’, he said.

’With the intention of responding to the hardships of the people of our country, who were harassed by the central government’s price hikes, we have implemented five guarantees through  which people  are able to save 5-6 thousand every month . He said that this benefit will continue to reach people’s doorsteps every month until the Congress government is secured’

’Devegowda, who had said that he would leave India if Modi became the Prime Minister again, has now joined Modi. The CM sarcastically said that  Deve Gowda would be offended when told the truth . 

 ’The State has been subjected to extreme injustice in sharing the tax  money of the people of the state. When the people of the state were suffering from floods and drought, Modi and Amit Shah did not enter the state under any pretext. Till date, not a single rupee has been paid for drought relief from the state’s share. Thus, he called for 7 crore Kannadigas to gain self-respect by defeating the BJP, which has continuously betrayed the people of the state.’
