Udupi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mangalore on April 14. Prime Minister Modi will address a huge public meeting at Goldfinch Maidan in Mangalore at 3 pm on that day, said Nalin Kumar Kateel, former BJP State President.
Addressing a press meet held near BJP office at Kunjibettu, Nalin Kumar Kateel said that people are going to gather this time to surpass the record of the number of people gathered when Modi visited DK district last time. The enthusiasm of the activists will be dampened by the Prime Minister’s visit.
He further said that this time we are going to the people with three important ideas - Safe India, Cultural India and Developed India. This time NDA will get more than 400 seats and Narendra Modi become third time prime minister of India.
To a query, in regard to Congress trying to Dingaleshwar Swamiji into their party ticket, Nalin Kumar Kateel said that Congress has no candidates to contest in the election. So they are trying to pull BJP people into their bucket. Even, Jayaprakash Hegde also was in our party who contesting in Congress ticket.
Commenting about Eshwarappa’s candidature from Shivamoga, Kateel said that Eshwarappa is the senior leader of the party. He is responsible for the growth of the party all over the state. He will be respected all the time. As far as the some differences in the party, seniors of our party will consult Eshwarappa and sort out the problems, he said.
Kishore Kumar Kundapura, BJP district president, Uday Kumar Shetty, BJP Mangaluru incharge, district general secretary Dinakar Shetty Herga, district spokesperson Geethanjali M Suvarna, former president Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, former MLA Raghupathy Bhat, Media head Srinidhi Hegde and others were present on the dais.
