Udupi : There was misrule of BJP in Union Government since 10 years in the country. BJP is against of Union Constitution, democracy and social justice. Hence, there is need to defeat the BJP in the forthcoming national general Lok Sabha Elections, said Manjunath Giliyaru of United Dalit Sangharsha Samiti’s Maha Okkoota, Udupi district.

Addressing a press meet held at Kidiyoor Hotel here on Tuesday, April 23, Mnjunath Giliyaru said that food prices which poor people of the country daily utilizing sky rocketed with higher prices. The medical services, education and daily needs prices increased. The social justice and security for the labourers has been in danger. The atrocities on backward communities and dalits doubled since ten years of Narendra Modi’s rule, legally used to get employment to dalit youths in jeopardy, he said.

Most of the BJP ministers, legislators, MPs and other leaders are arguing and giving statements publicly over need to change the constitution of India.  If once again, BJP get majority in the Lok Sabha, it would be sure that, BJP will change the constitution for their high caste benefits. Dr. B R Ambedkar established prepared and established our national constituency with the intention to give equal priorities to all the communities. But, BJP doesn’t want to, said Manjunath Giliyaru.

The other prominent leader of Dalits, Sundar Mastar said that from April 21 to 30^th April, in relation to 133th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, house to house Ambedkar campaign has started in every house of the colonies in the state.

In this election, Dalits various organizations united to vote for Congress candidate Jayaprakash Hegde in Udupi-Chickmagaluru constituency and all Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, Sundar Masater said.

Vasudev Muloor, Annappa Nekre Karkala, Vishwanath Bellampalli, Kumar Kota, Suresh Akladi, Shivanand, Mohan Mudubettu, Chandrashekar Udupi, Saumya Karkala, Sunitha Karkala and others were present during the press meet.
