Print Kemmannu, May 09:The Final programme of the Platinum Jubilee year, the get together of all the Religious priests and Nuns who obliged to the call of God was held at Kemmannu Church. Religious Sisters who served in Kemmannu Maria Goretti Convent also joined the function.
Most Rev. Dr. Oswald Lewis led the Eucharist celebration along with the Parish priest and several other priests originally from Kemmannu, who presently serve in different parts of India.
A felicitation function was held at the church hall, where Rev. Dr Oswald nostalgically remembered his childhood days at the church and the priests who have served in this church. Sister Lilly D’Souza, Superior of the Apostalic Congregation of Patna also reminiscent about her early days in Kemmannu and how the Church has developed into a beautiful place what it is now.
Mr. Braan D’Souza welcomed the gathered on behalf of the church; Mrs. Grace Machado was the compere of the programme.
At the end of the mass Mr Leo Crasto, Mrs Divina Crasto and Mr Alfred Crasto were crowned as the Chief Patrons of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration function. They were crowned by Rev Fr Edward Olieveira.

| Wishing all the members of Platinum Jubilee committee, parishioners and well wishers, a very Happy and Joyful event and may our patern saint St. Theresa shower her choicest Blessings on all of us.
In this juncture, the celebration will not be complete one, unless, we sincerely remember the great personalities of Keman Church like, Machhu Uncle, Keman (Late Marcel Crasta), Late Andrade fly, Kambla thota, Juze Uncle (Late Joseph Saldanha, Kambla thota, Late Simav Aab, Kambla Thota, Mr. Roque saldanha, Kodi, Late Paul Saldanha, Padu Kudru, Late Dulcine Teacher, Gudiam, Mr. Benna Master, Keman, Mr. Pinto Uncle, Kambla Thota, Late Francis Saldanha, Kambal Thota, Mr. Augustine Saldanha and Mrs. Lennie Saldanha, Kamble Thota etc etc., (sorry, if I missed someone) for their selfless service. Also few Priest like, Late Fr. Willium D Souza, Late Fr. Joseph D Souza and all other prients and nuns.A special thanks to the family, who donated the land to build this church and also all who directly or indirctly involved and continue to build the church progress and thus, now celebrating this event Grace. An All Religious Meet ‘Sarva Dharma Sauharda Koota’ will be held on Saturday May 11 and the concluding closing ceremony will be held on May 12 Sunday.
