Fr. Clement and Fr. Valerian’s Audio Album ‘Daivik Kakulth’ released at Kemmannu.

Kemmannu, 29 June 2014: An audio album of Konkani Devotional songs composed and directed by the celebrated liturgical twin-priest musicians, Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca and Rev. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas was released by Fr. William Martis at Kemmannu Church after the Sunday mass.

The audio CD comprises ten liturgical hymns along with a mass approved for liturgical use by Most Rev. Dr Gerald Issac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi. The orchestration for the album has been attractively embellished by the great film-musician, Praveen Duth Stephen, the Sohani Studio,Bangalore. The voices have been recorded in Sandesha Studio, Mangalore. The singers from Udupi and Mangalore have presented the hymns in a four-voice harmony. The hymns have been harmonized and recorded by Joel Pereira, the melodious singing, and is a musical feast to the listener. The title song presents the Divine Mercy Prayer in a prayerful song. The hymns are not only singable but also a feast the ears. Mother Mary’s Magnificat has been rendered into a prayer dance as well as a Responsorial Hymn.

Rev. Fathers Valerian and Clement deserve our congratulations and gratitude. They have already presented their devotional compositions in Konkani, Kannada, Hindi and English:

Apart from these joint song-offerings, they have also individually offered Mariyek Hogolsiam, Jai Christa and Natalanchim Geetham and Aik Mhojem Magnem.
