Udupi, Aug 22, 2014: Mr. P. Narayan Bhat son of late P. Srinivas Bhat (ex-priest of Ganapati Temple, Padu kudru) and late Mrs. Janakiamma was honored by the Dakshina Kannada Dravida Brahmin Sangha (R) Madras.
Mr. Bhat was the student of Hindu Primary School, Fisheries High School and graduated from MGM College.
At Udupi he had worked as a Sub-Editor of Udayavani daily and later shifted to Chennai. At Chennai he started his ‘Bhat’s Advertising Services Agency’ and was the first to be elected as the President of Tamilnadu Outdoor Advertising Association.

He published his own news paper ‘Supporter’ for about two and a half years and produced a Tamil television serial ‘Manasu Maripochu’, which won the best television serial award in 1991. Recently the Tamilnadu government appointed him as the President of ‘Sanskara Bharati’, a prestigious association of the state.
He is a multifaceted personality and is proud that he is a Kemmannite and from Karnataka. We congratulate him. May he bring more laurels to Kemmannu and the state.
