Print Mangalore, Sep 1, 2014: Popular Kannada Cine actress Miss Shubha Punja visited BIG GREEN GANESHA at City Centre Mall, Mangalore an initiative by 92.7 BIG FM. She offered flowers to Lord Ganesha and said- ‘’92.7 BIGFM is doing a tremendous job by initiating BIG Green Ganesha. In This current situation, we need to look at the environment and take steps to protect it. I am happy to be part of this event and I will support this kind of initiatives which intends to save the environment. I wish everybody happy Ganesh Chaturthi.’’
An innovative idol of Ganesha made of old news papers collected from households across Mangalore, is been celebrated during the season. The environment friendly BIG Green Ganesha is the initiative of 92.7Big FM started in the year 2008 is in its seventh successful year of celebration with a vision and a thought for a better eco-friendly future.
