Print Laxmivarthirtha Swamiji inaugruated the Thonse Ganeshotsav programmes.
Udupi/Thonse, Aug 30, 2014: Sri Laxmivarathirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, Udupi inagurated the Silver Jubilee Celebration programmes of Thonse Ganeshotsav Smiti at the Badrakali Temple premises, Gudiam, Kemmannu by lighting the lamp.
Jayakrishna Shetty, Founder of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti and entrepreneur, Prof. Dr. Y. N. Shetty, Dr. Mohammed Rafiq, Thonse Health Centre, Thonse, and Valerian Saldanha were the chief guest. Kojakuli Krishna Prasad Shetty(K.P.Shetty) , President of the Samithi, presided over the function.
As part of the entertainment programme Teriyande Pondu, Tulu comdey play was presented by the members of Ganeshotsav Samiti. Teriyade Pondu, Tulu comedy play was presented by the members of Ganeshotsav Samiti, as part of entertainment programme..

25th Thonse Sarvajanika Ganeshsova idol installed.
Kemmannu, August 29: Silver Jubilee celebrations of Thonse Sarvajanika Ganeshsova began here today with the installation of Ganesha idol at the Bhadrakali Mahamarikamba Temple Gudiyam.
The idol was carried from Hampankatte to the Temple premises in a colorful procession participated by the devotees. Four days of special prayers and other cultural activities will end on Tuesday, September 02 with the immersion of the idol at the sea.
The inaugural stage programme is planned today at 7 pm with Mr. Krishna Prasad Shetty (KP) presiding over the function. Sri Sri Sri Laxmivarathirtha will inaugurate the function. Other dignitaries Mr. Jayakrishna Shetty, Dr. Y.N. Shetty, Mrs. Janakai Brahamavar, Dr. Mohammed Rafiq and Mr. Valerian Saldanha will be present on the dais.
