Udupi: Shri Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Pejawar Math performed ‘Bale Muhurta’ as a pre-Paryaya preparation ceremony in the Math premises here on December 6.

The bannana Saplings that will be involved in the ritual were also taken in a procession around the Car Street and later planted in the math premises.

Speaking to mediapersons Shree Vishweshwarateertha Swamiji said that he will be adopting a village on his 5th Paryaya for implementing developmental initiatives in the village. A remote village deprived from development will be chosen for the same. The basic facilities will be extended to the village for the overall development.

The Ananatheertha Vidyalaya of Pajaka will be upgraded to international standards, the poor students will be given first preference for admissions. The educational institution will be equipped with state-of-the-art campus providing food and hostel facilities. The educational institution will have an integral education system from Kindergartens to Post Graduate department.

The poor and deprived will be recognized in the Udupi district. The basic facilities like drinking water, power will be extended to the poor families. The books and scriptures of religious importance will be published in different languages.

An advance multi-storied parking space costing 7 crores will be constructed to benefit the devotees covering the basic facilities. The construction of guest’ houses, auditorium, library having religious scriptures and medical centre costing 6 crores will be implemented in Shree Krishna Math premises.

“Society centered programmes will be implemented during 2 years of Paryaya. Permission will be sought from the government to initiate developmental programmes, if the government approves the proposal the Math will develop the village”. “The programmes costing 50 lacs are implemented and also basic facilities are extended to the Naxal affected areas”.
