Udupi : Karnataka Karmikara Vedike inaugurated Udupi District office at Shivgiri Sabhagrah, Bannanje here on Sunday, 22^nd February, 2015. After the inauguration stage program held at Shivgiri Sabhagrah which H. B. Nagesh Founder President of Karnataka Karmikara Vedike, Bangalore was presided the occasion.

Present on the dais were Jeevan Kumar Labour Inspector, Udupi, Jayakar Suvarna President of Udupi District Working Journalists’ Association, Udupi , Arun Kumar Project Director, Nirmithi Committee Udupi, Haji K. Abubaker Hon. President of Balakedarara Vedike, Udupi, Ravi Shetty President of Udupi unit, P. N. Chethan Rao District Secretary, K. Suresh Sherigar Vice President, Yuvaraj President of Udupi Muncipal Council and others were present.

Ravi Shetty gave keynote address. Mahesh Shetty welcomed the gatherings. H. B. Nagesh inaugurated the occasion.

During the occasion achievers in the society were felicitated by the guests on the dais. There were Ramesh Shetty noted social worker, Aboobaker social worker, Srinivas Poojary Village Nati doctor, Prabhakar Shetty Successful farmer, Vamana Udupi Municipality labour, Smt. Lalitha Udupi Muncipality labour and Surendra Kabettu Tulunadu Hulivashadhari of Udupi.

Jeevan Kumar during his address said that plenty of schemes available for the labour from both central government and state government which unclaimed due to innocence of the labour people. People should take advantage from the government whatever facilities available.
