Print Kemmannu Youth enjoy Easter Day by Fishing
Kemmannu April 5, 2015: Instead of spending the Easter holiday watching TV or playing with Mobile several youngsters joined and went for fishing in Perla Pond near Kambla Thotta. Since the water level was low they had a bumper crop of variety of fish including few Prawns.
Around 50 kg of fish was caught using the traditional method of Gori Bale, net tied to two poles. More than the fish youngsters enjoyed the fun of fishing in the pond and took their share at the end of the day.
