Mumbai: 13th Children Festival “Chinnara Bimba” celebrated

Mumbai, Jan 9, 2016: The 13th children annual festival of Chinnara Bimba was held recently on Jan 2, 2016 at the Radhabai T. Bhandary auditorium at Kurla (E), Mumbai. Mr. Suresh Shetty by lighting the lamp inaugurated the event. After watching this event i feel that if I had the opportunity in my childhood to become the part of such institutions today I would have learnt Kannada and Tulu, Suresh Shetty said after inaugurating the event. He further said that children are the future pillars of our nation. Like how the building is having a strong foundation we must teach our children good conduct and culture along with the good education. In metropolitan city like Mumbai everything is forgotten and become modern and institutions like Chinnar Bimba under the guidance of Prakash Bhandary is keeping the hope of our future culture alive, this is a matter of pride, he said.

Karnire Vishwanatha Shetty in his presidential expressed his surprised over the discipline of Chinnarbimba Children and said that childhood is an important stage in everyone’s life and narrated the importance of feeding good things to become good citizens and Chinnarabimba is doing exactly the same through their work and let his good work of Prakash Bahadary be become a role model to others in Mumbai

Jayaram Shetty-the executive president of S M S Shetty Institutions-managed by Bantara Sangha was present as a chief guest and spoke about the good work by Chinnarbimba. K D Shetty-the executive president and managing director of Bhavani Shipping Company, also spoke during the event. Nithyananda Kotian –the president of Billawara Association. Another chief guest Kadandale Suresh Bhandary and Latha Jayarama Shetty-executive president of Bantara Sangha –women’s wing,  Panduranga Shetty also expressed their views

Surendra Kumar Hegde gave the introduction about Chinnara bimba. Vijaya Kumar Shetty, Surendra Kumar Hegde, Pooja Prakash Bhandary-founder president, Naina P Bhandary-executive president, Thalipady Guttu Bhaskara Shetty, Ramesh Rai, Jagadeesh Rao, Ramesh Rai, Nithyananda Beluvai, Sujatha Shetty, Pranam Shetty, Ankitha Rai, Prajna Shetty were present at dais. Pavithra Devadiga, Deekshitha Kotary, Hastha Shetty, Vikky Shetty, Prajwal Shetty, Shreeraksha Shetty and Supriya Udupa Prakash Bhandary, Pooja Bhandary and Naina Bhandary honored the children. Dr. Poornima S Shetty, Dharshan Shetty and Keerthi Shetty compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
