Aircel brings ‘Aircel Premier League’ to Bangalore - Brings the trade, media and Aircel employee fraternity together for an exciting game of cricket  -  Highlight of the day was the match between Media and Aircel employees

Bangalore, January 23rd, 2016  In its unwavering commitment to its  trade partners and employees in Karnataka , Aircel, one of India’s leading telecom players, for the first time organized an exciting cricket tournament  called ‘The Aircel Premier League’  which brought together the trade, media and Aircel employee fraternity together for an exciting game of cricket.

The cricket tournament which began on 20th January 2016 saw 18 teams, from 6 zones competing with each other in various league matches. The finals which were held at the St. John’s Grounds, Koramangala, on 23rd January 2016, had a total of 6 matches being played. The highlight of the day was the exciting and fun-filled match between the Aircel team and the Media team. The first time ever Aircel Premier League in Karnataka was announced a great success as it saw very high level participation from the trade, employees and also the media fraternity. There were a total of 18 league, 2 quarter finals, 2 semifinals matches played. The event ended with 3 teams namely: South Zone Aircel Employees (Winners) , West Zone Aircel preferred parteners (runner up)  and the media team winning the Aircel Premier League and taking home the trophies

The trophies to the winning teams were handed over by Kanwarbir Singh, Circle Business Head,  Karthik V., Circle Marketing Head, and Rahul Arora, Sales and Distribution Head, Aircel Karnataka.

Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Arora,, Sales and Distribution Head, Aircel,-Karnataka said, “I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and express gratitude towards our trade and distribution partners for their efforts and the work we have been doing together.
