Kallianpur - Santhekatte accident victim dies in Hospital
Kallianpur, Santhekatte, Feb 4, 2016: In an accident news reported from Kallianpur, santhekatte near Highway garage , which took place on the 2nd of Feb, the victim died yesterday in the hospital.
The victim was identified as Santhosh Nayak aged 38 from Hemmadi in Kundapur Taluk. Deceased wife Asha and the driver of the omni car in which they were travelling are still under treatment in udupi hospital. The head-on collision between the Omni and the tripper had caused quite a long traffic jam in Santhekatte on 2nd Feb 2016.
The condition of the road at Santhekatte has been blamed for the accident. Due to road repair, vehicles have been moving in a single line, rendering the stretch congested.
