Print ‘‘NO’VYO VOVIYO’ – Training Programme’ on Sun., Feb. 28, 2016, at Kalaangann, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mandd Sobhann has experimented with the traditional ‘voviyo’s – with the intention of reviving and rejuvenating the tradition of singing ‘voviyo’s at the ‘Roce’ ceremonies, and also to attract the younger generation in carrying forward the tradition – by retuning and reinventing them.
Sumell, the Singing Club of Mandd Sobhann has organised the ‘NO’VYO VOVIYO’ Training Programme – on Sun., Feb. 28, 2016, at Kalaangann, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., to train those who are interested in learning the new ‘voviyo’s.
The participants will be given a copy of the ‘NO’VYO VOVIYO’ CD and the lyrics, so that they may be able to sing them at the ‘Roce’ ceremonies in their surroundings.
