Bajpe  Mangalore :  Brahma Kalashothsava  at  Shri Nagabrahma devasthana ,  kolambe  was celebrated from 22 Feb 2016 to 25 Feb 2016  under the direction of   Kudupu Vedamoorthi  Narasimha tanthri.  On occasion of this various rituals are performed from 22nd  to 26th.

On the occasion of Brahma Kalashothsva  various  Religious rituals, Dharmika Sabha and Cultural program were held  daily. In the morning on 22nd Feb 2016 first day of Brahmakalashothsava  around  thousands devotees from various  villages gathered in the  procession and offered  "Horekanike".  From  22nd Feb 2016  25th Feb 2016  various religious rituals such as  Nagalaya Parigraha , Prayer, Torana Muhurtha, Punyaaha, Naandi, Ganahoma, Prayschitha homa , Vaastu Yaaga, Rakshogna Yaaga,, Vaastu bali, Praakaara bali, Durga Homa , were held.

All day evening   Bajane  and Cultural program held like Dance Drama etc , Heads of different religion were invited to the occasion. On 25th Religious rituals began at  5 AM , of Kudupu Vedamoorthi  Narasimha tanthri  performed the Pooja for Brahma Kalasha.  Later Priest of the Temple  carried out  the Brahma Kalasha rituals inside the temple.

In the noon Mahapooja was performed to Shri Nagabrahma  followed with Bali and prasanna  Pooja. Thousands of Devotees  visited the temple and offered Sevas.   Maha Santharpane was held in the noon. Many  Devotees , Samithy  members and Gutthu families offered their  free services to temple for the success of brahmakalsha function .  From 2pm to 5pm there was yakshagana talamaddale Panchavati Bharathagamana.Evening 6 30 pm there was dance programme by rajya prashasthi winner “thunder Guys” team.  Dharmika sabha function was from 8pm to 9pm.Blessing speech was by Shri Shri Rajashekharananda Swamiji,Vajradehi mutt,Gurpur, Presided by Ajithkumar Maladi,Religious speech by Shri Balakrishna Shetty Kateel.Other chief guests were Shri Ramanatha Rai,Forest and environment minister,Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel MP,Shri Moideen bava MLA, Shri Krishna J Palemar,Dr Mohan Alva, Shri Vijayanatha Vittala Shetty,Shri Nithyanand Shetty,Shri Narayana Poojary Sunkadakatte.

The main priest of this temple is Shri Jayarama asranna , Dr Prasad Hegde, Nandabettu, President of Bramhakalashothsava samithi and other honorary presidents are Shri C S Shetty Majalaguthu,Shri Sridhar Alva Kandavarabalike, Shri Yajamana Jaya Shetty Ethamogaruguthu, Chief secretary Shri Muralidhar Shetty Nandabettu and Treasurer Shri Sukhesh Manai Talakala.
