NON-RESIDENT PARISHIONERS DAY / Live webcast and updates by www.kemmannu.com from 4 pm onwards on 29th December.

Udupi/Kemmannu: Global Kemmannu Flowers will host its first-ever mega event at Kemmannu in December 2012, in aid of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of St Theresa’s Church, Kemmannu.

Kemmannu parish Completes seventy five years of its existence in May 2013. A grand 2 days of celebration to conclude the year long activities will be held in the month of May 2013.

The parish has already celebrated with grandeur the silver and golden jubilees with your co-operation. The Parish has undertaken many big and small projects for the welfare of the parish families. But there isn’t a descent parochial house yet. The parish clergy live in the house in 1938 which has no adequate ventilation and light. With this in mind, in this Platinum Jubilee year of our Parish, the parishioners and the parish council have taken up the following projects as part of its Platinum Jubilee Celebrations:

• The parochial house with an estimated cost of Rs.25 Lakhs
• A dining hall to the northern side of our existing hall to be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs.15 Lakhs.

As a part of continuous celebrations on this Platinum Jubilee year of Kemmannu Church and by keeping in mind the above two projects, Global kemmannu Flowers under the leadership of Kemmannu Flowers, UAE will be celebrating NON RESIDENT PARISHIONERS DAY in Kemmannu on the 29th of December 2012. The event will start with a thanksgiving mass at 4.00 PM. Following the holly mass a small function to inaugurate the dining hall to the main hall will be held. The stage programme is expected to start at 6.00 pm.

A 3 hour variety entertainment mostly performed by the Non Resident Parishioners of kemmannu includes Fashion Show, Dance performances by Kids and Adults, Live Band and Music, Ever romantic Konkani Melody Songs and Funny Skits to give good jaw exercises. Spot prizes to try your luck, a eye catching tableau and carnival dance choreographed by Mr. Stany D’Cunha(Bulla) are in the programme list. Refreshments will be served after the holy mass and dinner will be served after the stage programme to all who are attending this event.

Regular Meetings are conducted in UAE and Qatar to make the event a memorable one. We have received an excellent response from our Sponsors and well wishers and definitely there is room for more. The complete net collection after deducting the expenses will be handed over to the Platinum Jubilee committee on behalf of Global Kemmanny Flowers.
