Moodbidri, March 19: Mangalore United lifts the Moodbidri Eleven T-20 TROPHY by defeating Belaghavi Panthers by 24 runs in the final played at the Swrajya Grounds. The day and night tournament was jointly organised by the south canara cricket association along with Moodbdiri Properties.com.

United Mangalore who played first scored 142 runs in 20 over’s with the loss of 8 wickets and bowled out Balagavi panthers for 112 runs.

The match was inaugurated by the central corporate affairs Minister M. Veerappa Moily and presided by K. Abayachdra Jain. Sri Amarnath Shetty, K. P. Jagadish Adhikari, Rathnakar Devadiga, Thashildar K. Murlidhar, Stephen Mendis of western institute of technologies, Moidhen Bhava of Mangalroe Uniteds and Srikanth Rai of Canara Cricket Association were present during the programme.

Programme co ordinator Ashwin J .Perrira welcomed and Ganesh Kamath compared the programme.

ಮೂಡಬಿದಿರೆ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 18 :  ಇಲ್ಲಿನ  ಸ್ವರಾಜ್ಯ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಕೆಪಿಎಲ್ ತಂಡಗಳ ಟಿ-20 ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ  ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಯುನೇಟೆಡ್ ತಂಡವು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಪ್ಯಾಂಥರ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು 24 ರನ್ ಗಳಿಂದ ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಮೂಡಬಿದಿರೆ ಇಲೆವೆನ್ ಟಿ-20 ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.ದ.ಕ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಡಬಿದಿರೆ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟರ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೂಡಬಿದಿರೆ ಪ್ರಾಪರ್ಟೀಸ್ ಡಾಟ್ ಕಾಂ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಹೊನಲು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಪಂದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ತಂಡವು 20 ಓವರ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 8 ವಿಕೆಟ್ ಗೆ  142 ರನ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಮುಂದೆ ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಪ್ಯಾಂಥರ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವು  ಬ್ಯಾಟಿಂಗ್ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರೂ  ಆಟದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ 112 ರನ್ ಗಳಿಸಿ , ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ತಂಡದ ಎದುರು ಸೋಲನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಪಂದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಪೋರೆಟ್ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ವೀರಪ್ಪ ಮೊಯ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.ಶಾಸಕ ಕೆ ಅಭಯಚಂದ್ರ ಜೈನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾಗರಾಜ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ , ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ. ಅಮರನಾಥ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಉಪಧ್ಯಾಕ್ಷ ಕೆ.ಪಿ ಜಗದೀಶ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಪುರಸಭಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರತ್ನಾಕರ ದೇವಾಡಿಗ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಕೆ. ಮುರಳಿಧರ್, ವೆಸ್ಟರ್ನ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿಯ ಚೇರ್ಮನ್ ಸ್ಟೀಪನ್ ಮೆಂಡಿಸ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ನ ಮಾಲಕ ಮೊಯ್ದಿನ್ ಬಾವಾ, ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಎ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ. ಶ್ರೀಕಾಂತ್ ರೈ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಘಟಕ ಅಶ್ವೀನ್ ಜೆ ಪಿರೇರಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು. ಗಣೇಶ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
