Udupi/Bangalore: Yet another question paper leak. That is the 2nd puc Karnataka board Physics paper is out in hands of the students well in advance before the exams. The Breaking news is that this Physics exam is postponed. Students even stage a mid night protest in MS Palya Bangalore against the PU Board.

Sources say that the question papers were been sold out through out the state in almost every districts including Udupi

The board had issued the question paper bundles, including optional subjects and languages, of all variances like science, maths and arts on March 7.

News have spread that the question papers were been sold at Bangalore city for Rs.5000 per head per paper over night which made the KSEEB (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) to postpone the exam immediately. The date of postponement is not yet declared. But will be announced at the earliest.

Rashmi V. Mahesh, Director of PU Education,Karnataka who had earlier rubbished the rumours and told that the examination would be held as scheduled has now agreed to the fact that the paper has leaked and she called on the postponement of the physics examination.

The board had issued the question paper bundles, including optional subjects and languages, of all variances like science, maths and arts on March 7. Now the KSEEB has planned to change all the question papers for all variances and keep the Board Secure.

The principal of one of the reputed college in the Mysore city expressed disgust at the question paper leak. On the one hand, the authorities were insisting on maintaining the quality of education and, on the other, were allowing such leaks, he said.

He said the leaked question papers were available with the students well in advance. It was surprising how the papers could get into the hands of students when the college authorities had to open the question paper bundle half an hour before the examination in the presence of custodians appointed for the purpose. It is also learnt that the question papers for Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts set by the respective district committees, and which had nothing to do with the examination process in Mysore District, were also in circulation along with a few fake ones. The question papers were sold openly on the college campus prompting student organisations to protest against the leak.

We are not blaming to commissioner. Whoever the culprit may be, but they must be a part of the system then only it is possible do such leakages. Rather taking very strong actions against culprits the commissioner is threatening only the students by giving the news statement that "the postponed exams will be very tough and only 30% or so of the students will get through". Being a powerful person she should take care of the students by making favor to them. The culprits are none other than the officials and the government is safegaurding them. It is shame on all the ignorant citizens who have the power to stop it but keeping quite.

It looks like entire Karnataka Education System is a joke. If you have power and money you can start a college, even a university and passing the exam is even more easier; just pay and get the question paper in advance. Then what we have is a bloated population of doctors and engineers produced out of such system. Alas! Where are we leading to.

its a pity that our board is not capable of handling this issue of paper leak despite the previous event. if such a thing will continue to happen, then we may not be writing any exam this year..besides we also have our CET exam scheduled on 3rd may. when should we prepare for that if such postponements continue?? the concerned authorities need to wake up n stop this nonsense before its too late n then we again get the news of another paper leak just before the exam.. pls authorities, wake up n do something.

It is disgusting to note that papers are leaking one after the other. The PUC board officials are incapable of conducting the exams in a fair manner. The culprits should be sacked and all there properties confiscated. The political instability in the state is also to be blamed. the suffers are only the students
