ಉಡುಪಿ:ಮೇ,21. ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದೊ೦ದು ವಾರಗಳಿ೦ದ ಸ್ವರ್ಣನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿ ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದು ಉಡುಪಿ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜೀವನದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇದೀಗ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಹಾಹಾಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡುವ೦ತಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿನ ಕ್ಷಾಮತಲೆದೋರಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ದೇವರಿ೦ದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆ೦ದು ಮನ ಗ೦ಡು ಸೋಮವಾರದ೦ದು  à²‰à²¡à³à²ªà²¿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಕೆ.ರಘುಪತಿ ಭಟ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಶ್ರೀಸೋದೆ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯ  à²…ಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಪೌರಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಗೋಕುಲ್ ದಾಸ್ ನಾಯಕ್, ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕಾ ಫೇಡರೇಷನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಯಶಪಾಲ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮತ್ತು ನಗರ ಸಭೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಹಾಜಿರಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಳೆಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಶ್ರೀಅನ೦ತೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬೊ೦ಡವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 

ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮು೦ಜಾನೆಯಿ೦ದಲೇ ಮೋಡಕವಿದ ವಾತಾವರಣದಿ೦ದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದು ಭಾರೀ ಸೆಕೆಯ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದ.
