MES students top CBSE exams in Qatar - In Commerce Kemmannu Origin Sana  Britto topped with 96.40%

Indian schools in Qatar have achieved excellent results in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations held in March this year. A total of 818 students took the exams from five schools.
At the MES Indian School, all 478 students (233 boys and 245 girls), who sat for the exams passed, with 11 securing A1 in all subjects. This was the 29th batch of Class XII from the school.

The school secured all the first three positions in the Science Stream and the first in Commerce Stream in Qatar.In the Science Stream Aakifah Rahman topped with an aggregate of 487 marks (97.40%), followed by Vegamoor Vamsi Krishna with 486 (97.20%) and Hafeeza Fathima with 484 (96.80%).
In the Commerce Stream, Sana Zeenal Britto topped with 96.40% (482 marks). This is the highest mark ever scored by an MES student in the Commerce Stream.
Abhishek Karmakar was second with 94.40% (472) followed by Ajmal Ahmed C S with 92.80% (464).
The school average this year is 76%.

The students who have secured A1 in all the subjects are: Aaron John Fernandes, Adham Musthak, Ajith Ravindran, Vegamoor Vamsi Krishna, Hafeeza Fathima, Aakifah Rahman, Amina Kamar, Jini Francis, Kedarisetti Hridya, Mahnoor Hasan and Sana Zeenal Britto.
In all, 60 students obtained A1 in English, 76 in Mathematics, 82 in Physics, 59 in Chemistry, 55 in Home Science, 42 in Economics, 39 in Engineering Drawing, 37 in Computer Science, 26 in Business Studies, 14 in Accountancy, 13 in Biology and 7 in Informatics Practices.
The MES also set another record in the number of students securing 100% in many disciplines. The highlight is 13 students securing 100% in Engineering Graphics.
The students who secured 100% are: Afees Ahamed M A, Abhishek Karmakar (Mathematics), Aakifah Rahman (Physics), Sruthi Mohanan (Chemistry), Syed Adnan Arif (Computer Science), Aazif Ali Nizar, Ajin George Varghese, Azharul Islam, Sagar Shiam, Shuhaib Zubair A K, Vegamoor Vamsi Krishna, Vijay Kandiah, Jagmit Singh, Jitin Antony, Mohamed Amaan Johar, Aathira Sathish Kumar, Jaseela Abdul Kader and Kedarisetti Hridya (Engineering Graphics).
The top scorers in other subjects are: Sana Zeenal Britto (Economics - 99%), Wafa Zainab, Sruthi Mohanan (Home Science - 99%), Nazneen Faisal, Sana Zeenal Britto, Ajmal Ahmed C S, Silma Subah (Business Studies - 97%), Shifana Shoukkathali (Biology - 97%), Vegamoor Vamsi Krishna, Aakifah Rahman, Jessica Kuruthukulang, Jini Francis, Urshi Afruna, Sana Zeenal Britto (English - 96%), Hana Rahimm, Sana Zeenal Britto, Abhishek Karmakar, Ajmal Ahmed C S, Aysha Rose, Tenny Koruthu Vattach (Accountancy - 95%), Jesuwin Wilfred and Keyuri Gargav (Informatics Practices - 94%).
Commenting on the brilliant performance of the students, acting principal Aleyamma Mathew said: “Our students have proved themselves once again that, with dedication, determination and sustained motivation they can yield such impressive results.”
While appreciating the efforts of the children, she also thanked the teachers and parents for supporting the institution.

At the Ideal Indian School, all 192 students passed, with 80 getting distinction (75% and above) and 94 scoring first class marks (60% and above).
The toppers are: Commerce Stream - Dhanya Joppachen (96.4%), Farha Azeez (91.6%) and Sierra Serrao (90.2%); Science Stream - Inaas Nazimudeen (93.8%), Akash Balamurali (93.6%) and Dharani Seenu Pillai (93.4%).
The school toppers in various subjects are:  English - Safa Salim, Nahla Fahmy (95); Maths - Dhanya Joppachen, Nashwa Nazir (99); Physics - Inaas Nazimudeen, Akash Balamurali, Dharani Seenu Pillai, Balanidhi, Bushra Memon, Mohamed Hisham, Nipin Sathianathan (95); Chemistry - Inaas Nazimudeen, Naina Betcy Allan, Elssa Ann Koshy (95); Biology - Dharani Seenu Pillai, Balanidhi, Bushra Memon, Safa Salim, Eleena Mariam Thomas (95); Engineering Graphics - Hadi Sha Rahiman, Saleel Saleem, Salman Ahmed (100); Home Science - Balanidhi, Asra Jamil, Fauzia Akram (98); Informatics Practices - Mohamed Hisham (96); Business Studies - Dhanya Joppachen (98); Accountancy - Dhanya Joppachen (96); Economics - Sierra Serrao (96).
The Ideal Indian School management, principal and staff congratulated the students on their achievements.

At Birla Public School, all 61 students who appeared for the exam passed with more than 60% marks. As many as 86.8% scored above 75% and 37.7% scored above 90%. The school average is 84.9%.
The Science Stream toppers are Anjali Menon (95.8%), Milan Mariya Tomy (94.8%) and Satya Rashmit Durugu (94.2%).
The Commerce Stream toppers are Richa Kohli (95.6%), Salma Syed Majeed (94.6%), and Harshita Naresh Kumar (94.4%).
The subject toppers are: Physics - Milan Mariya Tomy (96); Chemistry - Mohamed Golam Tawfiq (96), Biology - Sana Sayyid Ismayil (96), Mathematics - Anjali Menon (100), Business Studies - Salma Syed Majeed (99), Accountancy (Richa Kohli 95), Economics - Mary Jos Moyalan (96), Computer Science - Jincy Jose (99), Engineering Drawing - Atia Rahman, Milan Mariya Tomy, Balu Rithu Bala, Singampalli Basanthy, Grishma Dharmendrakumar Joshi (100), Informatics Practices - Ooshmal Ullas (95), Sana Sayyid Ismayil (95) and Harshita Naresh Kumar (95). Anjana SP with 97 marks in English Core is the language topper.
Anjali Menon, Milan Mariya Tomy, Salma Syed Majeed, Sana Sayyid Ismayil, Richa Kohli and Harshita Naresh Kumar bagged A1 grade in all the five subjects/languages.
School chairman C V Rappai and directors congratulated the students, parents and teachers.

The DPS Modern Indian School, which sent 61 students for the exams, recorded 100% pass. As many as 78% of the students passed with distinction.
Science Stream toppers: Ankita Shankar Singh (95.6%), Afreen Rahman (95.4%) and Singdha Kamal (95.2%); Commerce Stream topper: Tanvi Rajendrakumar Panicker (84%).
Subject toppers: Functional English - Ankita Shankar Singh, Afreen Rahman, P Arul Prakash (97 marks); Mathematics - Shankar Suresh Kartha, Daniel Isaac George (96); Physics - Nabeel Shahid (99); Chemistry - P Arul Prakash (96); Biology - Sejal Kumar, Shaikh Omar Sultan Qureshi, Suravi Das, Ashwin Raj Kumar J, Akashdeep Singh Ahluwalia, Rehab Yasir Nainar, Pritika Panchanathan Raja, Yuvaraj Singh, Daniel Isaac George, Shankar Suresh Kartha (95); Computer Science - Yohan Jacob John, Pavithra Manghaipathy (99); Economics - Ritika Mathur (92); Business Studies - Ritika Mathur (96); Accountancy - Tanvi Rajendrakumar Panicker (90); Physical Education - Aakriti Malhotra (93); Psychology - Gurpreet Kaur Khera (94).
The school management congratulated the students for their performance.

At the Doha Modern Indian School, out of a total of 26 students who appeared for the exams, 25 scored above 60% aggregate. Six students scored an aggregate above 90% and 11 scored an aggregate between 75% and 90%.
Tasnim K P from the Science Stream topped with 94% marks. Kansa Kader is the topper in the Commerce Stream with 90.2% marks. Tasnim K P and Manu Kumar have secured A1 in all five subjects.
The subject toppers are: Physics - Tasnim K P (96%); Chemistry - Allen Gabriel, Manu Kumar Saini, Nisrin M Lathif and Tasnim K P (95%); Biology - Tasnim and Manu Kumar Saini (95%); English - Allen Gabriel (93%); Mathematics - Allen Gabriel, Manu Kumar Saini and Nisrin (95%); Economics - Krishna Ashok (95%); Computer Science - Neha Anna Biju (91%); Informatics Practice - Kansa Kader (95%); Accountancy -  Kansa Kader (92%); Business Studies - Kansa Kader and Ayushi Rastogi (96%).
