Print Kemmannu, July, 2012: As a part of continues celebration during the Platinum Jubilee year, family life seminar was held in Kemmannu Church on Sunday 15 July.
Director of the Diocesan ‘Family Life Service Centre’ Fr. Santhosh Rodrigues along with his Assistant Fr. Anil D’Souza lead the half daylong seminar in the Church hall. Merwyn and Ruby Saldanha of ‘Couples for Christ’ group were also the part of the training group.
The day began with the special holy mass for the couples. Around 75 couples joined in the entrance procession. Special litguric prayers were offered for the gathered couples.
A brief inauguration ceremony was held at the church hall with resourceful persons and parish priest J B D’souza by lighting the lamp. Eldest couple of the parish Mr. Charles and Juliana Menezes also joined them.
Catholic Sabha president Hubert Lewis welcomed the gathered. Fr. Santhosh and Anil presented their views with the help of Power point projector. Merwyn and Ruby dwelt on the practical problems faced by the married couples.
The Seminar was attended by about 200 parishioners. Catholic Sabha Secretary Jyothi Lewis proposed the vote of thanks. The seminar concluded with lunch for the gathered.

| I attended the Seminar, which I feel was very useful to the married couples. Fr. Santhosh, Fr. Anil and Merwin were very good in their teachings. Thanks to our resident priest Fr.
