Children Learn What They Live By Dorothy Law Nolte, Ph.D. If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, they learn to fight. If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive. If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves. If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy. If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy. If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty. If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence. If children live with tolerance, they learn patience. If children live with praise, they learn appreciation. If children live with acceptance, they learn to love. If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves. If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal. If children live with sharing, they learn generosity. If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness. If children live with fairness, they learn justice. If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect. If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them. If children live with ...

Everybody gives positive inputs about their teachers, because of them the students have benefited. A fine gesture indeed. However, what about those students whose future got ruined because of a few biased teachers? [You can’t pay one Anna for "flag day"? Fine I will pitch in , but come and pick rubble in my coconut field this saturday fro 8 to 5 pm.] [You are so dumb, you are not even good to walk behind the water buffaloes (who are smarter than you) while ploughing!] [Oh, yes, we need farmers to raise rice, and cows. You are a perfect fit] [There is place for you in the audience; but not on my stage!] Some of such teacher’s children are fine candidates for and in the prisons. How sad, indeed........... The evil that teachers utter, stays with the students, but the good that they parrot gets lost... Teacher’s day, mother’s day, Monthi Fest day..... If you live for the moment, you have no sickness, because, birds do not hoard, or worry about Next Meal... Viva M.Comm....

@Jossy forget about the parents. Are there only 8 or 10 students who got the benefit from these teachers and reading this article?? Shame on such living creatures who cannot even say a word of thanks to their mentors. (Some of these teachers are living a retired life and a word of appreciation from their old students might bring some cheer in their old faces)?? I appreciate YCS, ICYM and the jubilee committee for felicitating these teachers on teacher’s day.

Dear Kemmannite and Rixon, well said. You people said it all on behalf of all children educated by these great teachers. Now we feel we are better than them, but they moulded us and we are what we are because of them.

I wonder where are all the parents who have got their kids educated in Kemmannu schools. I am sure most of their kids are well placed in life holding lucrative jobs in Dubai, Muscat or Riyadh. At least these ungrateful parents should have attended these felicitation ceremonies.

Congrats to all the teachers on Teachers Day. Special wishes to Alice, Tejju and Bijju Teacher. It is an emotional feeling to see them at their ripe age. There may be thousands of students, who have been taught by them. Very few found time to wish them. Students, come on wish them ’Good Health and peace of mind’ otherwise, shall I say ’we are ungrateful’.

Hindi master Great is the scrifice of Nuns, Sisters they are working free for children perhaps there is no such person in this world like religious sisters they leave their family- parents, brothers sisters, and work for others children giving education and health care, their selfless care for sick and old aged is appreciable. The first education introduced by them here in India in the 15th century and we are now educated but our ministers are still uneducated?????????????
