Church Associations Day celebrated at Kemmannu Church.

Kemmannu: As a part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration’s November programme, all church associations day was celebrated on Sunday November 4.
Fr. Onil D’Souza, Director of CODP (Catholic Organization for Development and Peace) Mangalore Diocese, was the main celebrant of the Sunday mass with parish priest Fr. J.B.D’souza and resident priest Fr. Anil D’Silva joining him in the Eucharistic celebration.
After breakfast, inauguration ceremony of the programme was held with all 12 church associations’ presidents carrying the lit lamp to the dais.
After the inauguration ceremony, a brief report of all the associations was presented by Mrs.Lolita Quadros and Mrs. Colin Fernandes. Fr. Onil conducted the hour long workshop, where he stressed the importance of associations in the development of the church.
Mr. Braan D’Souza, President of the Platinum Jubilee’s Cultural Committee proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Felix Pinto co-ordinated as the Master of Ceremony.
