Mumbai: 82nd AGM of Kulala Sangha held with Kulala Utsav

Mumbai: “I am extremely happy to see the gathering of Kulala members in large number. This crowd is really a sign of bright future. Let this continue in the same way so that the activities of our Sangha will reach each and every individual of our community” said P.K. Salian president of Kulala Sangha Mumbai during the 82nd Annual General Body meeting of Kulala Sangha, Mumbai held at NKES High School Hall, Wadala, Mumbai. He said the 5 subcommittees of the Sangha are like 5 fingers in our hand which give us more strength specially for all our activities. But the future of the Sangha is in the hands of our youths for which we need more youths to come forward and work for the upliftment of the Sangha’s activities futher.

Purohit Laxminarayan Shanbhag performed Shree Satyanarayana Pooja in the morning after which the AGM was started with prayer. All the office bearers of the Kulala Sangha Mumbai and the officer bearers of its local and subcommittee were present on the dais. The Annual report and the accounts were presented before the meeting and approved by the members present. Gopal Bangera, Shekar Moolya, Shankar Moolya and Dinesh Kulal expressed their opinion regarding establishing educational institution in the land owned by Kulala Sangha at Ghod Bunder, Thane.  

Businessman Sanjeeva N. Bangera released the 14th annual issue of Amoolya quarterly published by the Sangha. Narayana Netrakere, Editor of the magazine presented a brief report of the magazine. Shankar Y. Moolya Sub editor compared the programme.“Kulala Utsav 2012” was celebrated with various entertainment and cultural programmes by the children and the members. D.I. Moolya, joint secretary of Kulala Sangha offered vote of thanks.
