Mumbai Jan 20:The CCL (Celebrity Cricket League) Season 3 curtain raiser was held on Saturday at the Reliance Mediaworks studios in Filmcity, Mumbai with a galaxy of Bollywood stars turning up to support the sports initiative, the biggest presence of all being that of Salman Khan. After passing two editions successfully for the past two years, the Celebrity Cricket League is gearing up for a third edition and the Curtain Raiser Event was held in Mumbai yesterday (19th January) while the opening Ceremony is at Kochi on 9th February, 2013. Choreographer turned actor Prabhu Deva performed at the star studded event.
Famous bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is the brand ambassador for Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Season 3 along with Kajal Agarwal. Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Bipasha Basu, popular south Indian actresses like Shraddha Das and Charmi Kaur also performed at the stage.
Eight teams for Celebrity Cricket League,Season 3 are Mumbai Heroes, Chennai Rhinos, Bengal Tigers, Kerala Strikers, Telugu Warriors, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bhojpuri Dabbangs and Veer Marathi.
This year CCL matches will be telecast on eight channels of the Star Network in eight languages. CCL3 tournament will take place from February 9 to March 10.
