 Udupi: District Lioness Meet – 2013 ‘SANKALPA’ held in City

Udupi: The Lions Club International District Lioness Meet – 2013 ‘SANKALPA’ of Lions District 317C was held at the Ammanni Ramanna Shetty Memorial Hall Udupi here on April13 and 14.

Lns. Shobha M Hegde First Lady of the Dist. 317-C inaugurated the Distirct Meet. The programme began with an invocation by Lns Thilaka M Rao. The National Flag was brought to the dais by Lns  Asha P Shetty, and the flag salutation was done by Lns. Kavitha Ballal. A silent prayer for world peace was observed for one minute.

ಉಡುಪಿ:ಏ,14. ಅ೦ತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ 317Cಇದರ 10ನೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ-2013 ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಅಮ್ಮಣ್ಣಿ ರಾಮಣ್ಣ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸಭಾ೦ಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶನಿವಾರದ೦ದು ವಿದ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ಕ೦ಡಿತು.ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಗವರ್ನರ್ ರವರ ಧರ್ಮಪತ್ನಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೋಭಾ ಎ೦.ಹೆಗ್ಡೆರವರು ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವುದರೊ೦ದಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸಮಾರ೦ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಗವರ್ನರ್ ಡಾ.ಮಧುಸೂಧನ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಅ೦ತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ  à²®à²¾à²œà²¿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ, ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ವಿನೋದ್ ಖನ್ನಾ, ಪವಾಡ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಬಯಲು ಖ್ಯಾತಿಯ ಹುಲಿಕಲ್ ನಟರಾಜ್,ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಇ೦ದ್ರಾಳಿ, ಸುರೇಶ್ ಪ್ರಭು, ಶ್ರೀಧರ ಶೇಣವ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಜಯಗೋಪಾಲ ಬ೦ಗೇರ, ದಿನೇಶ್ ಬ೦ಗೇರ, ಎಚ್.ಎನ್ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಲ್ಟಿಪಲ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಸೇರಿದ೦ತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಲವಾರು ಗವರ್ನರ್ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸ೦ಯೋಜಕಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಪ್ನಾಸುರೇಶ್ ರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.

ಇದೇಸ೦ದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ೦ಕಲ್ಪ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿನೋದ್ ಖನ್ನಾರವರು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.ರಾತ್ರೆ ಶ್ರೀಲ೦ಕಾದ ನೃತ್ಯತ೦ಡದಿ೦ದ ವಿವಿಧ ನೃತ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜರಗಿತು.
