BANGALORE: The CID investigation of Swami Nityananda’s case has revealed some interesting facts about his wealth. Just when tapes showing the godman with Tamil actress Ranjitha were aired on television channels in March, Nityananda was negotiating the purchase of an island near Los Angeles.

On Nov 28 in Natungram, Murshidabad, West Bengal, alleged Muslims radical boycotted a convert Christian woman from Islam and threaten to impose a fine on her if she continues to follow Jesus Christ. India to get first Super Hercules airlifter next week

The first of India’s six C-130J Super Hercules airlifters, considered the world’s most advanced transport aircraft, will be formally delivered on December 16 at a ceremony in Marietta, Georgia. Two of the planes purchased from the US in a $1 billion deal, will be flown to India in early 2011 while two more will arrive in early summer and the last two will be delivered in late summer of 2011, its manufacturer Lockheed Martin has announced.

French sale of nuclear reactors to India will create ’mistrust’: Pak

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has criticised a multi-billion-dollar agreement finalised by France to sell two nuclear reactors to India, saying the deal would create "mistrust" and have "serious security implications" in South Asia. Responding to a question on the France-India deal at a weekly news briefing, Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit renewed Pakistan’s demand to be treated at par with India in the field of civil nuclear cooperation.
